Mr. Shelton provides consultations, litigation support, research/analysis, opinions and testimony on coverage issues on all lines of Property & Casualty and Life, Health & Disability insurance. He also can review files for adherence to industry/company standards and practices, Adjuster training issues and extra-contractual liability (Bad Faith).
Mr. Shelton has over twenty-one years of insurance industry experience. He holds the
Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) professional designation. He is currently studying for the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) professional designation. Mr. Shelton has had published two book reviews in
The Journal of Risk and Insurance. Since 1990, Mr. Shelton has served as a Lecturer in Insurance at San Antonio College. He is licensed by the
Texas Department of Insurance as an All-Lines Adjuster and is an approved Special Deputy Receiver.
Mr. Shelton accepts cases as an Expert Witness for both Plaintiff and Defense, without geographic limitation. He accepts cases against Insurance Companies as an Plaintiff Attorney within Texas.
